The BestAge Model Agency (off the beaten track, S.L.) act only as an agent and without legal obligation to arrange, on the models behalf, the contract between the model and client.
Travel costs (if necessary): Travelling time is subject to half-day rate. Travel costs will include trains, air fares (economy class), taxis, buses and tube fares or mileage allowance.
Accommodation (if necessary): The client has to pay the full costs for all hotels and accomodation including breakfast. Daily expenses are not included.
Make-up, hair and styling time: Is included in the daily model fee on the day of the shoot up to 8 hours.
Changing of clothes: The client has to provide a secure and private area on set (indoor or outdoor shootings) for the model to change clothes and store personal possessions.
Working day: 8 hours between 8am and 6 am + 1 hour for lunch including waiting time. Additional time is charged at the half-day rate.
Model Fee: The model fee plus legal taxes refers to advertisements or editorial shootings and a whole working day. Commercials, large billboards, small and large posters, displays, post cards, sales promotional material, etc. require an additional contract, and fee need to be arranged – depending on the circulation or if the publication will be Local, National, European or International. Editorial shoots can be booked in hours (min 2 hrs), half days or full days. If there is no special agreement, the buyout is valid for one year, starting from the first publication. The model is responsable for paying taxes and her social security contributions. Upon client request according documents can be provided.
Options: Options can be cancelled at any time by the client or model without paying any fee or costs. If the client does not confirm or cancel the option within 3 working days before the shoot the agency is entitled to cancel the option.
Cancellation: If there is a cancellation 24 hours before the shoot the client will be charged the half-day rate. Shoots cancelled on the day due to bad weather are also charged at the half-day rate.
Agency Fee: The agency charges for each model booking and buyout, 10% commission for the arrangement and 10% for accounting, writing invoices, reminders etc. plus legal taxes. The client is obligated to inform the agency immediately about any bookings, even when there is any direct contact with the model.
Invoice: The invoices is supplied by the agency. The invoice must be settled within 14 days or at the latest within 4 weeks. Publishing of the shoot is only allowed after the whole amount has been paid.
Court of jurisdiction is Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
